XS708E Firmware Version 1.00.12

Bug Fixes:

1. Fixed the problem that fan failure LED on the front panel may get turned on incorrectly after upgrading the firmware from v1.00.06 to v1.00.10.

Limitations:

1. Please note the chipset behavior for the port mirroring feature: packets from the egress direction (Tx) of the source port are always tagged. Packets from the ingress direction (Rx) of the source ports are not tagged.

Installation Instructions

1. Download and extract the new firmware to a convenient place such as your desktop.
2. Start ProSafe Plus Configuration Utility, (included on the CD coming with your Smart Switch). If it is not installed, do so now, before continuing.
3. The ProSafe Plus Utility will scan and detect ProSafe Plus switches on your network. Select the switch to upgrade by clicking on the radio button next to the switch. Enter the adminstrator password of the switch when prompted. 
4. Select Maintenance under the System tab. Click on Firmware Upgrade and Browse to the location when the firmware image is saved.
5. Click Apply to start firmware upgrade.
